What is a V0H1N0 Initiative?

A V0H1N0 Initiative is a movement towards a better community. The V0H1N0 is ALL about inclusion! We don't want to leave anybody out!

Community events, fundraising for local improvements or bringing people together to work towards an important cause for the community by introducing new Naramatians to one another!
Bringing our community closer together...that's what a V0H1N0 Initative is.

Our first Initative was the 1st Annual Naramata Holiday Light up. And like most of our ideas it came together in a flash! Within a couple of weeks we had Aquila donate over $800 in the new LED lights, contacted Santa and the best surprise was the spread the Naramata Heritage Inn & Spa provided! Free of charge. If you missed the first one, you missed an incredible bon fire built just for this occasion on the front lawn of the inn!
It has now become an annual event and we celebrated the 2nd one with adding more lights from what was Aquila and now FortisBC. They supplied us with enough lights to decorate the Museum, Library, OAP and the Thrift Store! We had a great turn out for our Holiday Village Decorating. The Naramata Preschool, Naramata Elementary School and the Leapin Lizards Daycare all hand made decorations for the 10 foot tree that Fred Ritchie provided!
